Product Description
The Tolix chair’s and stool’s share a colourful 100+ year history that started in 1907 and the final redesign in 1956. They were immediately popular, not just in cafes, where right up until the 1970s they were often given out by breweries in return for the owner stocking their brand, but also in factories, offices and hospitals.
This replica has also undergone the same powdercoating process as the original, which can be found in the collections of the MoMA in New York, the Pompidou Centre in Paris, and the Vitra design collection in Weil am Rhein in Germany. Rubber stoppers are on each leg as well as positioned within the inner frame of the chair so to ensure safe stacking.

Good chairs, not without fault

We purchased 8 chairs (two sets of 4)
Pros:
-The chairs are structurally sound
-The paint job is good
-The shipping was very quick (1-2 days)
Cons:
-The black rubber feet on the bottom of the legs were frayed on two of the chairs and not the best quality on all the chairs
-The black felt pads on the bottom of the feet (so that the chairs don't scratch the floor) were not properly affixed to two chairs and had come off during delivery.
Overall:
They are good chairs at a great price! Would recomend them as long as you didn;'t require perfection and were okay with minor flaws.
